1) Can you tell us a little about yourself and what inspired you to create your company?

I’m a masters graduate in IT and later moved to marketing during the course of my career. I was working as a Marketing Manager for a European lighting company before starting Biobloom Organic Products.

During a prolonged & painful medical situation in my family we realized how we had adulterated our lifestyle with chemical laden food & products. I was introduced to some natural products during the same period and subconsciously made the switch.

Once I got hooked on to a natural way of life I had this compelling desire to bring it out to the rest of the world in some way and that was when Biobloom was conceptualized.

 

2) What is your brands philosophy? What sets you apart from other products?

Our Brand’s philosophy is “Prevention is better than cure”. Actually there is not cure as modern medicine is only destructive in nature and therefore we must shift to a healthy, natural lifestyle to maintain ourselves.

We are completely & thoroughly honest with our products and make sure that our products meet the standards that our customers expect from us. We are also very honest in share complete information about what we use in our products and what we avoid. We don’t make any tall but false claims and let our products do the talking for us. I am not sure if all the other brands follow that ideology and that is what sets us apart.

 

3) What has been the most rewarding and challenging thing about starting?

At the cost of being cliché, the biggest reward has been the satisfaction of making a difference to some lives and the society with complete honesty & sincerity.

The most challenging was to create our initial product range. I knew from the start the key was our product range and each and every formulation had to be both effective & affordable at the same time. Product development took a lot of time and effort initially. Once we knew what we wanted to offer, producing them with the same quality levels was another step but I am glad we overcame it successfully.

 

4) Do you have any advice to offer consumers just starting to transition to natural products?

Someone who us starting to transition to natural products must patiently remember that natural products may feel different initially, but different in a very good way. We’ve all grown up with chemical ridden products and have become accustomed to the way toxins feel. We’re only beginning to understand how natural feels. For example, sometimes our products may not foam as much as their chemical based equivalents but that’s only because we avoid some chemicals and nothing else. Our products may also be lower on fragrance but that’s only because we do not use artificial fragrances.

 

5) GreenRoute is featuring your Bath Salt /Foot Soak do you have anything you would like to share about this product?

 Let me start by saying that all our products are free from Parabens, Sulphates (SLS/SLES), Petrochemicals (PPLs) or any other harmful chemicals. We use pure essential oils for our products for their effectiveness and fragrances.

Our Foot Soak Bath Salt comes with the goodness of Peppermint & Tea Tree Essential Oil and helps relax sore muscles. This Aromatherapy Foot Salt softens the water and moisturizes your skin. It also has great anti-septic and anti-fungal properties and works for a perfect pedicure at home.
